Study associations are groups that gather students who share similar goals and interests. They also provide a variety of programs and services that help students reach their personal and academic goals. On this page, we’ll look at some of the top study clubs around the globe.
AIESEC
AIESEC is a non-profit global organization that is geared towards developing leadership abilities and foster intercultural understanding among youth. AIESEC has more than 100,000 members spread across 150 countries, and provides numerous programs and activities, such as international program for leadership development, internships and community service initiatives.
Kraket
Kraket is the association of observers with Econometrics and Operational Research at the VU. Kraket was established at the end of July, 1972 using the abbreviation Kraket refers to “Critical Actuaries and Econometricians”. The majority of students who study economics are part of the group and there’s a reason to be a part of it. In the room we have (HG-8A-30) allows you to purchase books, get answers to your questions, perform some work, or just browse around. On Mondays, we’re open between 12.30 until 10 AM until 5 pm. Tuesday through Friday, we’re open from 10am to 5 pm.
IFMSA
The International Federation of Medical Student Associations (IFMSA) is an international association that represents more than 1.3 millions medical school students from 143 nations. IFMSA is a non-profit organization that aims to promote the health of all people and provides medical students with the opportunity to explore different health systems and the different cultures. The association offers a variety of activities and programs, which include exchanges, research projects in addition to advocacy efforts.
IAESTE
It is the International Association for the Exchange of Students for Technical Experience (IAESTE) is an international association that offers international internships for students studying technical fields. IAESTE is comprised of more than 80 members and provides students with the opportunity to work in a different nation and its culture.
ELSA
The European Law Student Association (ELSA) is an non-profit association that strives to offer law students opportunities to improve their legal knowledge and skills. ELSA is home to over 50,000 students at over 300 universities across 44 countries, and provides various activities and services, such as moot court competitions and legal research projects and studies trips.
IEEE
The Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE) is an international organization with more than 400,000 members from over 160 nations. IEEE is committed to promoting the advancement of technology . It provides a variety of programs and services which include technical books, conferences along with professional education programs.

AISEC (Association Internationale of Etudiants in Sciences Economic and Commerciales) is a non-profit international organisation that is designed to build leadership abilities and foster the understanding of other cultures among students interested in the fields of economics and business. The organization is comprised of more than 100,000 members across around 100 different countries. The organization provides a variety of programs and activities including international internships, leadership development programmes as well as community service initiatives.
NAFSA
The NAFSA Association of International Educators is a non-profit organisation which aims to encourage international exchange and education. NAFSA has more than 10,000 members spread across more than 150 countries. They provide an array of tools and services that support international education, such as the professional education programs and research papers along with networking possibilities.
ASME
The American Society of Mechanical Engineers (ASME) is an international organization with more than 100,000 members across around 150 different countries. ASME is committed to promoting the development of mechanical engineering. They offer various programs and services that include scientific publications and conferences and professional training programs.
IIE
The Institute of International Education (IIE) is a non-profit organisation which aims to encourage exchange and education across borders. IIE has more than 1200 member institutions spread across over 170 nations. IIE provides a variety of services and resources that help international education, including study abroad programs and international student advice and research-related publications.
WISE
The World Innovation Summit for Education (WISE) is an international initiative that seeks to foster innovation and improve quality in the field of education. WISE brings educators as well as policy makers.
